Pets Take Away

My search for the best dog hotspots in the area brings me to writing this post about a fantastic pet shop called Pets Take Away. Pets Take Away is situated on Leek road in Baddelley Green. As soon as you walk into the shop you pick up on the great atmosphere that the team provide. The staff are all really friendly, helpful and very knowledgeable. They will always try to help you and provide great advice related to what you are looking for. Even if there is something that they don't stock (which from what I've seen of their varied stock-is doubtful) they will even be able to order it in for you on a regular basis.  If you're really lucky, they might even involve you in some of their cheeky banter :)

You can really tell that the team love animals, the shop has an absolutely huge range of products for all types of pets. Specifically for dogs there's a huge range of dry food, wet food, treats, toys, clothing, beds, shampoos, safety items, collars, leads, and accessories to accommodate all types of budgets. If you're like me and your dogs are on a very strict and healthy diet, you will find the range of grain-free, organic and hypoallergenic wet and dry foods fantastic. For example, they're one of a very few shops in the local area to sell Lily's Kitchen which is a great organic dog food-it's even human grade! If you're looking for something a bit more cheap and cheerful though, again there is a huge range to choose from. You couldn't fit anymore into the shop if you tried. Upstairs there are two rooms literally filled with dog beds in different shapes, sizes and materials. I could spend hours in there browsing for my two dogs, I would encourage anybody reading this to go and have a browse for yourself. Be warned though, you may end up spending more than you anticipated! They also have a charity box to drop food in for the Greyhound rescue centre and the Animal Lifeline! You can give them a like on Facebook by clicking here.
